  • Full-time Supply Teacher
  • Required in September for a well-respected secondary school in Wigan
  • Must have experience providing general cover within a Secondary school setting
  • Completive rates of pay offered for this full-time position
  • Employment for the full academic year

The Deputy Headteacher within our partner school has identified the need of a teacher to support with classroom cover once they return from the school holidays.

Your primary role will be to provide general cover across the school campus, delivering pre planned lessons to the full subject range.

With an increase in cover requirements this year just gone, our client school wish to alleviate pressures from the classroom teachers whilst offering students the regularity of a member of staff who is able to provide cover when required.

This is a full-time position that the school wish to appoint for as a matter of urgency and the school are looking to meet with interested candidates in the coming weeks.

To be considered for this role you must be a flexible and experienced teacher who is confident delivering pre-planned lessons to pupils at GCSE level. It is crucial that you have good classroom management skills and are able to build solid relationships with the students and classes that you will be working with.

This secondary school is located in Wigan. In their most recent Ofsted report they achieved an overall grade of ‘Good’ and are consistently improving. The school is located on the outskirts of Wigan, bordering Warrington which makes for easy access from surrounding areas; St Helens, Salford, Leigh and Chorley.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
