Supply Teachers/Cover Supervisors needed in South Manchester

Teaching Personnel need a number of general Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to help provide cover within Secondary Schools around South Manchester including Wythenshawe, Levenshulme, Burnage, and the wider areas of greater Manchester including Trafford and Stockport. The role of a Supply Teacher is to provide cover within a range of subjects across different school whenever a permanent member of staff is not able to be in school.

Should you have QTS in a certain subject then we can prioritize subject specific roles for you which may in turn mean there is more responsibility included within the role such as planning, marking and using assessment techniques. You will also be able to provide general cover around different subjects whereby the work will already be prepared for you, simple delivery of the work is all that is required. As a Cover Supervisor (an educator without QTS), you will have all the work prepared in advance and will never be expected to complete planning or marking. Some of the pay details for the two different types of roles are listed below along with some of the other details of the role.

• Pay: £120 - £140 per day depending on experience and type of role (With QTS)
• Pay: £83 - £90 per day depending on experience (With NO QTS – Cover Supervisor)
• Variety of roles both Part-Time and Full-Time to suit your schedule
• Schools based around Trafford, Stockport and South Manchester
• Fantastic opportunity to gain classroom-based experience

If you do not possess QTS then it is desirable to have obtained prior experience of working with young people such as Youth Work or volunteering through Scouts. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
