Role: Supply Teacher

Location: Kirkby, L32

Start Date: November 2025

Suitable for: ECTs and Experienced Teachers

Contract: Temporary

Pay Rate: £120-£232.56 per day depending on experience.

Teaching Personnel is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic supply teacher to join our team, working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in the Kirkby area. Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a seasoned professional, this role offers the perfect blend of stability and diversity.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 in line with the national curriculum.
  • Adapt to different school environments and classroom dynamics.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning.
  • Participate in planning and assessment when required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Has experience teaching in primary settings (KS1 and/or KS2).
  • Is flexible, reliable, and confident in managing different classroom settings.
  • Has a genuine passion for education and child development.
  • Is open to short-term, long-term, and day-to-day placements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
