Job Description

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Support pupils’ academic and personal development through creative teaching strategies.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in line with school policies.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Have experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Be passionate about creating a stimulating learning environment.
• Show commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Be adaptable, resilient, and eager to contribute to a team-focused culture.
