Are you looking for a flexible career in teaching?
Or perhaps you a teacher seeking a role for September but finding it challenging due to Covid 19?
Have you considered supply teaching?
Teaching Personnel is looking for driven, enthusiastic and flexible supply teachers to work for our Secondary schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We are looking for both newly qualified and experienced teachers who have the ability to teach to KS4.
Supply teaching is perfect for NQT's that would like to gain experience in a variety of school settings, without the added responsibility of planning and marking!
This year there are more challenges than ever to secure a role for September, however supply teaching is a great way to get into schools and often leads to securing a role. A number of schools Teaching Personnel work with have already spoken to us about members of their own staff that are likely to continue to shield in September, and therefore they will be needing longer term supply to cover these members of staff.
Supply teaching is also ideal for experienced teachers that are either looking to get out of teaching but want to earn an income whilst changing careers, or retired teachers that want to keep their hand in teaching but not work full time.
About the Role:
Supply teaching across Secondary schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. You will be covering lessons, with no planning and no marking.
A willingness to teach across all secondary year groups is preferred but not essential and the ability to cover one specialism up to KS5 would be a bonus to any teachers applying for this role.
You will be able to work on a day to day basis or in long term positions, depending on your personal working requirements.
GBP100 - GBP150 daily pay rate (dependant on the role)
Due to demand from local schools, we are really keen to hear from any teachers that live in, or can get to, the following areas:
- Easton
- City Centre
- Horfield
- Downend
- Kingswood
- Hanham
- Longwell Green
- Winterbourne
- Emersons Green
As a supply teacher you will require the following:
• Excellent communication skills and be able to manage a classroom to a good standard
• QTS or NQT (Cover Supervisors who have strong subject knowledge or extensive experience should also apply)
• The ability to cover a specialism and potentially some other lessons.
If you are seeking teaching work for September please apply with your CV. I will give you a call to discuss day to day and longer term supply opportunities with you. I look forward to hearing from you.
