The Role

As a Fully Qualified Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 11–16 during teacher absences. You will take responsibility for delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring a calm, productive learning environment is maintained throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons confidently and effectively
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s established policies
• Maintaining a focused, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils across a range of abilities

Who We Are Looking For

• Fully qualified teacher status (QTS or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with students in a secondary school setting
• Confident, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to varying classroom needs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
• A genuine passion for supporting, motivating, and inspiring young people
• Willingness to deliver a range of subjects as required
