This opportunity is ideal for qualified teachers who are passionate about education and keen to make a positive impact while enjoying flexibility in their working week.
The Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality teaching to students aged 11–16 during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining the school’s positive learning environment. You will confidently deliver pre‑planned lessons, adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs, and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. The role may also involve supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
This is a well‑established, community‑focused secondary school serving with a “Good” inspection track record, strong leadership, broad curriculum, and a warm, inclusive ethos.
Who We Are Looking For
- Fully qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent required)
- Experience teaching secondary‑aged pupils
- Confident, adaptable, and professional in the classroom
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and contributing to their educational development
Working Hours / Benefits
- Flexible working – full‑time and part‑time opportunities available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
