Cover Supervisor – Basingstoke

Are you a recent university graduate, an aspiring or unqualified teacher, or someone looking to gain valuable experience working in secondary schools? Teaching Personnel is recruiting Cover Supervisors in Basingstoke to support local schools, with opportunities available to start as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for those exploring a career in education, seeking flexible or term‑time work, or looking to build confidence and experience before progressing into teacher training.


The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by delivering pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You will manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and ensure students remain engaged, focused, and supported across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You may also be required to support pupils with special educational needs or additional learning needs, making this a rewarding role for those passionate about inclusive education and supporting young people to reach their potential.

  • A genuine enthusiasm for supporting and motivating young people
