Cover Supervisor – Fleet

Are you a recent university graduate, an aspiring or unqualified teacher, or someone looking to gain meaningful experience in secondary schools? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors in Fleet to support local schools, with roles available to start immediately.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes in the absence of the usual teacher, delivering pre‑planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning. You’ll manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and maintain a positive, calm, and effective learning environment for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The role may also involve offering additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or other learning needs, making it especially rewarding for those passionate about inclusive education.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with secondary‑aged students (education, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • A genuine enthusiasm for supporting and inspiring young people
