Cover Supervisor – Secondary Teaching Opportunity

(No teaching qualifications needed!)

 

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Start Date: Immediate

 

A Secondary School located in Southampton, known for its strong values-driven culture and “Good” Ofsted inspection ratings is seeking a day-to-day Cover Supervisor to aid in their students learning!

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are keen to gain valuable classroom experience or are considering a future career in teaching.

 

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes of students aged 11-16 during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly and effectively. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and maintain a positive and focused learning environment. The position may also involve providing additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) when required.

Working Hours / Benefits

  • This is a flexible position, with full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Weekdays only, Monday-Friday
