Cover Supervisor – Alton

Immediate Start | Flexible & Term‑Time Roles Available

Are you a university graduate, an aspiring teacher, or someone looking to gain classroom experience before committing to teacher training? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors in Alton to support local secondary schools, with opportunities available to start as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for those seeking flexible education work, whether you’re exploring teaching as a long‑term career, looking for meaningful term‑time employment, or wanting valuable in‑school experience alongside other commitments.


The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their learning. You will manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and create a calm, focused, and positive learning environment for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

There may also be opportunities to provide additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or other additional learning needs, making this a rewarding and impactful role.
