Sports teaching assistant needed in High Wycombe

Are you keen to start a career in Education and sport? Teaching Personnel support schools with staffing gaps on a short term, long term and permanent basis. Our Special Educational Needs department works with schools that cater for children for additional needs such as Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

We are looking for sport teaching assistants to work with these pupils that have specific learning difficulties. The main work is in a setting of no more then around 30 pupils to a class, often no more than 10, with a teacher, and a possibility of another teaching assistant.

The ideal persons must have a background in sports such as personal training/gym instructing, coaching, sports science degree or a keen sports player and at least an understanding of special educational needs (no relevant experience is required), personable in their approach, calm and happy to work with children that have challenging behaviour.
