Are you passionate about sports and making a positive impact on young people’s lives? We are looking for a dedicated Sports Coach to join our team in Blackburn, working within a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) setting.

Position: Sports Coach
Location: Blackburn
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: £13.75 per hour

What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions tailored to SEMH pupils

• Support the development of physical, social, and emotional skills through sport

• Foster a safe, positive, and motivating environment

• Work closely with staff to support pupils’ individual needs

Who you are:

• Experienced in coaching or working with children/young people, ideally in SEMH or similar settings

• Passionate about sport and youth development

• Patient, understanding, and adaptable

• A strong communicator and team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
