The Position:
Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a candidate to support a student 1-1 in the mornings with ASD and speech and language delay. We are looking for a teaching assistant to run speech and language interventions in the afternoon. We are looking for a candidate who has speech and language training and has delivered speech and language interventions. The candidate will need to be available for interview during the next three weeks. The LSA will need to be available from October 2018 until the end of the academic year. There is the possibility to go permanent.
What are we looking for:
- A teaching assistant with extensive experience working with students with ASD
- A candidate who has speech and language training and has delivered speech and language interventions
- Experience working in KS1 and KS2
- Training / Teaching Assistant Qualifications
- An individual to commit to providing 1-1 support until the end of the academic year
The school:
The primary school, based in Beckenham, is OFSTED rated 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features. The school has three form entry and each class is well supported. Children with SEN receive 1-1 support. The school promotes the ethos that in order to succeed, it is essential to have high expectations and aspirations.
