Sociology Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a pro-active and hard-working Sociology Teacher on a full-time basis in partnership with an excellent secondary school. The ideal candidate will be competent teaching sociology across GCSE with elements of teaching humanities across KS3. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced sociology teachers and NQTs looking to gain experience and progress in their career!

Requirements for the role 

- relevant degree with QTS

- Experience teaching sociology and humanities 

- DBS on the update service or be willing to have one

- the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons

- embody the school's ethos 

- excellent classroom and behaviour management

- willing to deliver both online and classroom learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
