Are you a qualified speech and language therapist?

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a qualified therapists to work within our SEN schools based around Yorkshire. You will be joining a team of motivated and supportive educators who will share a vision where education, care and therapy combine to give our students positive experiences and development.

You must have a recognised post-graduate qualification, RCSLT membership and HPC registration. A sound understanding of the Mental Health Act, relevant legislation and statutory regulations associated with Speech and Language therapy is also essential.

We require a Speech and Language Therapist who will:

• Receive and respond to referrals and undertake assessments and diagnoses to determine and plan an effective speech and language programme for assigned pupils

• Plan, conduct and review one to one group therapy sessions ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the pupil and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the pupil’s therapy plan while also complying with Group policy and statutory regulations

• Manage, monitor and review an assigned caseload through regular consultation and liaison with professional and/or clinical colleagues

• Maintain accurate and up to date records in the form of case notes, case files, clinical reports and other associated documents

• Collaborate with professional colleagues providing professional advice and guidance, facilitating related group therapy sessions and assisting with the analysis of statistical data and information for research and audit purposes

• Identify, evaluate and implement new and improved methods, techniques and interventions based upon best practice and evidence based research
