September teaching positions
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Once the Easter holidays are over and all the chocolate has gone, the attention of Teaching Personnel will soon focus on the placement of teachers ready for the next academic year. The roles will start to come through as soon as the 9th April so be the first one to secure a role in a Primary School from September 2018. Based on last year, Teaching Personnel are expecting a good number of teaching placements so it is important that we have a number of suitable practitioners who can work collectively with the agency to ensure long term positions are secured. The roles will vary from EYFS to KS2 and will not all be full time, so don't worry if you are only available on a part time basis from September. The dedicated consultants at Teaching Personnel will work with you to ensure you are put forward for a number of suitable roles in a location you are comfortable to travel to. As a former Primary Practitioner, I appreciate how stressful it can be, balancing your current work load as well as applying for positions to start several months down the line. Sometimes it can be difficult to know what you are planning for the children next week, never mind securing a new role in a new school!
So, let Teaching Personnel take all the stress out of it; whether it be Preston, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn or Darwen now is the time to start contacting us! The agency have already taken vacancies and so we are anticipating another eventful couple of months in the lead up to the Summer holidays.
The client portfolio with the Primary Team at Teaching Personnel is vast. There are a range of schools currently using the services at Teaching Personnel from schools who are currently graded as Requires Improvement to Outstanding. We work with inner city schools and semi rural and village schools. All come with their own challenges!
In order to work with Teaching Personnel as a teacher you must have the following;
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience working on placement or in schools as recently as 18 months ago
Have the enthusiasm and commitment to go into a school and raise standards with good lesson delivery and differentiation
Be happy to work in partnership with Teaching Personnel and the dedicated consultant you will be assigned to due to your geographical location.
Be able to provide at least two education based references.
Provide a copy of your DBS (Child workforce only) on the update service.
