About this role: This role is located close to the Hayes town centre and offers the opportunity to support a group of students within the schools designated unit for ASD.  Within this role, candidates will be expected to deliver the current curriculum in a flexible and personalised manner – adapting to the needs of children on the day. With additional support from LSA’s and other staff within the school community, this would be an ideal placement for candidates looking for to learn and apply on a day – to – day basis.

A successful candidate in this role will have a passion for teaching and supporting those with ASD optimise the school environment. Candidate will also be adaptable to the needs of students and fully incorporate multiple EHCP plans into their lesson planning and delivery with a heightened sensory element to lessons included. Candidates will have experience working with secondary SEN students and be competent in the current curriculum and how this can be adapted to accommodate students within the unit.
