SEN Tutor (Secondary)

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

If you have QTS or have extensive experience tutoring, Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit tutors in the Manchester area to support students who currently don't have placement within mainstream schools for reasons such as pregnancy, EAL, SEN or SEMH needs.

Tutors need to have a strong knowledge of KS2/3/4 English and Maths and confident in their behaviour management skills.

Tutoring usually takes place within the students home (supervised) or in a local community building which is organised prior to booking the tuition. The sessions are usually 2 hours but can range from 1-3 depending on the needs and situation. You will be expected to travel to where you are required to be so own transport is necessary, or confidence in public transport.

Tuition offers £20 per hour and takes place within school hours, so is perfect for someone looking for flexible working or extra cash.

If this job description suits you, please apply with your CV.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
