SEN Tutors Needed in Dorchester

TP Tutors is seeking knowledgeable and compassionate tutors in Dorchester to deliver individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs.

This role is ideal for professionals who value a personalised approach to education and want to help learners overcome barriers in a supportive, one-to-one setting.

Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time

Main Responsibilities

• Provide tailored tuition in Maths and/or English based on each student’s needs
• Support learners with a variety of additional needs, including SEMH and autism
• Develop creative strategies to maintain engagement and encourage progress
• Establish a structured and nurturing learning environment
• Track development and adjust sessions to support ongoing improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
• Ability to deliver well-structured and engaging lessons
• Based locally or able to travel within the Dorchester area
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive teaching practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
