Job description

Make a Lasting Impact Through Personalised Tutoring

TP Tutors is seeking enthusiastic and reliable tutors in Christchurch to provide 1:1 and small group Maths and English tuition for young people with Special Educational Needs.

This is a great opportunity for those with SEN experience who are looking for flexible and meaningful work.

Position: SEN Tutor (SEND Specialist Opportunities Available)
Location: Christchurch and nearby areas
Working Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions
  • Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other needs
  • Foster a structured, safe, and positive learning environment
  • Deliver sessions in students’ homes or local community settings
  • Help learners grow in confidence and reach their full potential

Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Ability to teach Maths and/or English (primary or secondary)
  • Based in Christchurch or able to commute locally
  • Compassionate, flexible, and dependable
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
