Teaching Assistant required for large SEN School in South Croydon
- £58 - £85 per day, dependent on experience
- National insurance and pension scheme contribution paid for you
Teaching Personnel is currently working with a large, outstanding SEN school in South Croydon that caters for students between the ages of 3-19 years who have profound and multiple learning difficulties. Many students are wheelchair users with complex medical needs; many also have visual and hearing impairments.
The school is looking for a full time Teaching Assistant who has:
- Experience of SEN and a good understanding of how to work with PMLD students
- You will be working in a secondary age class
- Providing personal care for students is something that you must be willing to do
- Moving and handling training, or the ability to use hoist equipment is essential as this is required in nearly all classes
You must have a DBS registered on the update service, or be willing to complete a new application as soon as possible. Previous experience working in care is desirable as an alternative if you have never worked in an SEN school before.
