SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently working with an Alternative Provision, just outside of central Bournemouth which caters for Primary students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, on temporary long stay or a permanent basis.

The school are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work on a full time basis and long term basis, with potential for a permanent role. The work will take place within their KS1 unit, working specifically with two students. The class sizes are around 6-8, and you will be working alongside other SEN specialists, including another member of support staff and qualified EYFS/Primary teacher.

The successful candidates will have experience either within SEN or in mainstream Primary schools, working with KS1. The ideal candidate will have experience with Autism, MLD & would also have experience with personal care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
