Nursery Teaching Assistant – Bury

We are pleased to be working with a wonderful, Ofsted OUTSTANDING nursery in Bury who are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their friendly, supportive team. This is a genuinely lovely setting with exceptional facilities, beautiful learning spaces and a nurturing atmosphere.

About the Role

As a Nursery TA, you will:

• Support the delivery of fun, engaging and age‑appropriate activities following the EYFS.
• Help create a warm, stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children aged 0–5.
• Work closely with practitioners to promote children’s personal, social and emotional development.
• Assist with daily routines, play‑based learning, supervision and general care.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

SEN experience is a bonus but not required. The nursery offers excellent support and training for enthusiastic candidates who are eager to learn.

What We’re Looking For

• Ideally a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, but strong experience will also be considered.
• A warm, patient and nurturing approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Someone proactive, reliable and confident in a childcare environment.
