Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in Hindley to recruit an experienced Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.
This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity within a supportive and nurturing Early Years provision situated on the sight of an excellent primary school.
The school is keen to meet with passionate Early Years practitioners who have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and learning through play.
Role details:
- Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant
- Full-time role
- ASAP start
- Temporary initially, with the opportunity to become permanent
- Based within EYFS (Nursery / Reception)
The role will involve:
- Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
- Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Working with children on a 1:1 and small-group basis to support learning, communication, and social development
- Contributing to observations, assessments, and progress tracking in line with EYFS expectations
- Supporting children with additional needs, including SEND and speech & language development
- Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children at all times
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have recent experience within an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception)
- Be caring, patient, and enthusiastic, with a child-centred approach
- Be open to a temp-to-perm opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a supportive primary school, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
