SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant?
Do you have experience working with SEN in an educational environment?
Are you experienced working with KS1?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEN TA in Cambridge to support a pupil in KS1 on a 1:1 basis during the afternoons of the school day, the role would start in December it would initially be an afternoon based role but has the potential to turn into a full time position. The pupil in question has SEMH SEN, therefore the ideal candidate would have a large amount of experience working with SEMH on a 1:1 basis inside or outside of an educational environment.
You would be offering support to the pupil during the afternoons of the school day, this would involve but may not be limited to- Behavioural guidance, monitoring the pupils progress and development and reporting it to the class teacher, aiding the pupil to build long lasting relationships with his teachers and co-pupils and offering support to the class teacher when needed.
The ideal candidate:
- Experienced Teaching assistant
- Experience with SEN (Ideally ASC)
- Enhanced Childs DBS on the update service
- Flexibility in terms of transport
- UK address and right to work
- Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
