SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with SEMH and Challenging Behaviour.

The school are looking for candidates that have experience working with varied year groups and varied SEN such as Autism, SEMH and MLD. The role is part-time, to start after the Easter break with immediate effect. The school would like to introduce the candidate to the pupil before the holidays however, and are therefore taking applications ASAP.

The ideal candidate: 

• Experience with students with SEN such as SEMH, Autism and Challenging Behaviour 
• A background in Education, Youth Work or Residential Work
• Previous experience working with a variety of ages from Primary through to Secondary 
• Experience with Pastoral Support including mentoring 
• A Child Workforce DBS registered to the update service
