SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

With 2 Nursery classes and 2 Reception classes, this growing school with state of the art facilities are excited to add a nurture group SEN Teaching Assistant to their friendly staff team.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant would ideally have school based experience working with children with similar SEN needs, such as Autism, speech and language communication. If you have experience working with children within the EYFS through to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, this would be beneficial.

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Experience of Autism, speech and language, moderate and low level learning difficulties
  • School based experience ideal, however similar SEN experience with children would be acceptable.
  • Small group work and 1:1 work with SEN children on a nurture basis
  • Opportunity for a school's permanent contract in the future.
  • Supported and trained by SLT and experienced teachers

All applicants to Teaching Personnel must have a valid DBS and will also be subject to two reference checks.
