Teaching Personnel are working alongside a large Secondary school in Salford who is currently looking for a new Teaching Assistant to support specific pupils with SEN.
- Full-time Teaching Assistant role available, following the October half term break until the end of the academic year.
- Working in a newly refurbished large Secondary school in Salford.
- Earn up to GBP350 per week, depending on previous experience.
- Supporting students with specific SEN including ASC, ADHD etc. with daily activities and providing guidance with a variety of subjects such as English and Maths.
- Access to multiple CPD training courses from partner Secondary and SEN schools.
This SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve:
- Implementing intervention sessions to improve behaviour and promote inclusion of all pupils throughout school.
- Monitoring pupils’ process and record any significant improvements in students’ behaviour or academic achievement.
- Supporting identified pupils with daily school life alongside their academic studies.
- Working alongside other staff members of the SEN department including the SENCO and Inclusion Manager.
Application requirements
- You must have direct experience with young people who have Special Educational Needs or have transferrable experience.
- Must have a strong understanding of how to support specific SEN within a school setting.
- Any other experience with young people is also desirable.
Located in central Salford, our client secondary school can easily be accessed via the A580 and the M602 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from areas such as Bury, Bolton and central Manchester.
