SEN Teaching Assistant – Sale (M33)

A reputable mixed-age SEN school in Sale (M33) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex needs, and the position will involve personal care. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils with complex needs.
  • Assist with personal care tasks as required.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and academic development.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of pupils.

Requirements:

  • Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
  • Provide references covering the previous 24 months of employment history.
  • Essential experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel is essential.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate of £77+, commensurate with experience.
  • No agency fees or involvement with umbrella companies.

Start Date: This role will commence after the Easter break.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
