SEN Teaching Assistant | Specialist Primary School

Bury | Teaching Personnel

Make a Real Difference Every Day

We're recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary school supporting children aged 3-11 with ASD, SLD, and PMLD.

Your Role:

✅ Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
✅ Help deliver personalised learning and EHCP targets
✅ Encourage communication, independence, and social development
✅ Support sensory and play-based activities
✅ Work alongside teachers, therapists, and SEND professionals
✅ Provide personal care when required

We're Looking For:

✨ Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
✨ Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
✨ Confidence supporting pupils with complex needs
✨ Strong teamwork and communication skills

Desirable:

➕ PECS, Makaton, AAC knowledge
➕ SEND qualifications or specialist school experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
