Our client, a SEN school in Milton Keynes, works in partnership with parents, other professionals, interest groups, other schools and the local and wider community. The school gives children and young people the experiences necessary to develop the knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes that enable their personalised learning. It provides opportunities for pupils to progress to a fulfilling life of maximised independence.

The school implements inclusion and outreach, working in partnership with local schools and the local authority. At secondary level the school also works in partnership with other bodies to provide information, advice and guidance, work experience and vocational education in preparation for transition to adult life and economic well-being.
The school shares expertise and organises training within both the local and wider community, in order to enhance opportunities for children and young people with autistic spectrum disorders. It maintains and develops the knowledge of staff and encourages them to make progress in their careers, providing staff development and training, both "in-house" and externally.

- Challenging behaviour outside of a school environment
