Salary: £83.85 - £100 Per day
Hours: 8:30-3:30

Currently we have a number of roles available in the Melton Mowbray/Oakham area within SEN environments and we are looking for passionate professional people from a variety of backgrounds to fill these roles. SEN is very much a personality based role and strong and effective communication is key to excelling. Due to the nature of SEN students and the day to day variety the role provides we are looking for different types of candidates whether you have recently left education and are looking for a role or perhaps you have more life experience outside of education, working with SEN students requires someone with a strong patient personality above all else.

Ideal Applicants:
- Passionate about the continuing learning and development of young people
- Have experience working in education or with young people either in a work or personal capacity
- Be a proactive person willing to get involved and dedicate yourself to excelling within your role
- Driving License and vehicle is preferred but not essential
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Experience with SEN/Care
- Strong and Effective communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the educational and social development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN
- Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Look after the safety and well-being of students
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Teaching Assistant/Education based Qualification preferred but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
