Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: GBP65-GBP75 per day
Contract Length: March 2020 to September 2020 with extension available

Or do you have interest working with children and young adults with special needs?
SEN Teaching Assistants are required for a special needs school in Uxbridge, Hillingdon. They are searching for pro-active and engaging SEN Teaching Assistants to join their expanding team. Due to students all having a SEN statement the school are either looking for someone who has previous experience in an special needs, care setting or someone wanting to start a career working with children with special needs.
SEN Teaching Assistant long-term contracts begin as soon as possible with the successful teaching assistant being required to commit until September 2020 and beyond if this is what you want to do.
The school will provide you with in-house support, a fantastic team and a fun, welcoming environment to work. You will be working amongst like minded SEN Teaching Assistants and management supporting pupils with their learning and development.
The SEN Teaching Assistant roles are from Monday – Friday each week from 8:30 to 4:00pm with all staff required to be punctual due to the varying needs of the children.
Teaching Assistant - Requirements;
- Experience working in an Special Educational Needs (SEN) or care setting
- Experience or willingness to supporting with personal care (nappy changing/toileting), moving and handling or positive behaviour support
- Genuine interest in starting or developing career working with children and young adults
- Available for work immediately
