Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide support to the teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Assist in preparing classroom resources and materials
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) requirements
- Manage student behaviour and encourage positive engagement
- Supervise students during breaks and recreational activities
- Assist with record-keeping and administrative tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with children
- Teaching assistant qualification
Education:
- Minimum of a teaching assistant qualification
Experience:
- Prior experience working with children
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good behaviour management skills
- Experience with special educational needs (SEN) requirements
- Ability to support the teacher with lessons
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications or training in special educational needs (SEN)
- First aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Term time only (no work during school holidays)
- Full-time hours
- Work closely with a dedicated consultant for support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
