Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Location: Cranborne, Dorset
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Term Time Only)
Salary: £22,102.72 - £24,103.93 (FTE: £25,729.60 - £28,059.20)
⏳ Hours: 40 hours per week
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Autism and associated conditions? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11-16 in a nurturing, engaging, and dynamic learning environment.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (SEN), you will:
✔️ Support students in both academic and vocational settings (e.g., Bushcraft, animal care, and life skills).
✔️ Work alongside teachers to reinforce learning and provide tailored support.
✔️ Promote positive behaviour and implement personalised support strategies.
✔️ Assist students in achieving their individual EHCP targets.
✔️ Encourage social interactions and facilitate group activities.
About You:
✅ Passion for supporting young people in education.
✅ Ability to manage a range of behaviours, including those that challenge.
✅ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
✅ GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or equivalent – desirable).
✅ Willingness to work within the physical demands of the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
