SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 3 to 19 in a welcoming and well-resourced specialist school (name not disclosed).

The school provides an enriching and supportive environment where students are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.

This is a full-time position, working 9.00am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday. Both primary and secondary opportunities are available.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working alongside experienced teachers and support staff to:

• Assist pupils with their day-to-day learning

• Provide individual or small group support

• Encourage independence, confidence and personal development

• Help create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

To apply, you must:

• Have a minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience, ideally supporting children or young people with additional needs

• Be patient, reliable and enthusiastic about making a difference

• Hold a valid driving licence, as the school is not easily accessible by public transport
