SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across both primary and secondary classes.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm. You will be joining a nurturing and forward-thinking school that provides a calm and creative environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils in classroom activities and one-to-one learning

• Encouraging independence and confidence in personal and academic development

• Working closely with teachers and other support staff to create engaging learning experiences

• Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 6 months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN

• A positive, patient and resilient attitude

• The ability to drive, due to the location of the school

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
