Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School

A special educational needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant role supporting children with SEN is a fantastic way to gain invaluable experience working with children for the entire academic year. This role is ideal for Aspiring Educational Psychologists or Primary SEN Teachers.
This school is situated in Thanet. The SEN school features excellent facilities and resources and is incredibly highly regarded for its creative approach to SEN therapies, teaching and learning.
ROLE - Graduate SEN TA
· SEN Teaching Assistant - flexibility of years 1-6
· 1:1 support - Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties
· Liaising with the teachers and therapists about supporting children within lessons
· Training provided with a very experienced SEN team
· Full time hours - 8:30am until 4:00pm
· September 2020 start until July 2021
· GBP60 - GBP70 per day with a possible increase after 12 working weeks
PERSON - Aspiring Psychologist or Primary Teacher
· Relevant degree with a 2:1 or above
· Strong academically with a good record of GSCEs and A-levels
· Enthusiastic and driven who can use their own initiative
· Ideal for aspiring SEN Therapists or SEN Teachers
· An understanding of SEN - experience is an advantage!
· Knowledge of the UK Education System

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
