SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay: GBP 66-75 a day – weekly pay via PAYE with no umbrella fees

Location – East Bristol

Hours – Full-time Mon-Fri 8:30am-3pm

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large secondary school in East Bristol looking to recruit a full-time SEN teaching assistant to start in September. This role is available through LEA funding and it is likely you will receive an opportunity for the role to become permanent.

Experience supporting SEN children is essential for this role. You will be working with a range of additional needs, experience working with ASC, learning difficulties and ADHD would be beneficial.

The role would be working 121 and in small intervention groups working with the school’s SEN Learning Resource Base. As part of the department you will be supporting several students and staff. You will get to know students well and plan their bespoke learning plans. Tracking progress and setting goals will lead to feedback being reported to other staff members and parents.

The department is very welcoming and helpful, also in the school’s latest Ofsted their SEN facilities were rated ‘Good’.

SEN Teaching Assistants must have the right to work within the UK and the ability to provide two references from their most recent employers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
