The Role: Impact & Support
This role is for someone who finds deep satisfaction in supporting children with complex needs. Your daily duties will include:

Essential Personal Care: Providing dignity and support with feeding, mobility, and personal care (including toileting and changing).

Learning Support: Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored, engaging lessons and activities.

Creating a Safe Space: Fostering a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

Teamwork: Working as part of a close-knit team alongside therapists, teachers, and other professionals.

Who We Are Looking For
You don't need to have a teaching background, but you must possess:

Experience or Training in an SEN, PMLD, or a care/support worker setting.

Patience and Empathy: A deep commitment to working with children with complex learning challenges and additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
