Do you have experience of working with children and young people with special needs? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a number of schools across Milton Keynes on a temp-to-permanent basis. These schools are ideally looking for Teaching Assistants who are experienced at working with children and young people who have various Special Educational Needs such as: Autism, Epilepsy, Down syndrome, Visually & Hearing Impaired, ADHD, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Learning Difficulties, Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties. Teaching Personnel offer flexible employment options and this is an ideal position for someone wishing to work in a school to gain additional experience before following a career in teaching, educational psychology or speech and language therapy.
If you feel confident, or have experience in at least 3 of the following areas then you could be the ideal candidate…
- Youth/Community work experience - Youth Offending Service experience - Support/Care Work - Special Education Needs Experience - Sports coaching, qualifications or experience - Mentoring/Tutoring - Teaching/Learning Support Assistance - Challenging behaviour outside of a school environment
