Are you an experienced tutor, teaching assistant, or teacher with a passion for helping children with additional needs? Are you ready for a flexible, rewarding role that allows you to make a real impact outside the classroom?
TP Tutors is currently recruiting for compassionate and committed individuals to deliver 1:1 tuition in core subjects – Maths, English, and Science – to KS1 and KS2 pupils with special educational needs (SEN). We have immediate starts available across a range of local placements.
What the Role Involves:

• Encouraging engagement and building confidence through patient, creative teaching
• Tracking progress and adjusting lesson content to meet evolving targets
• Applying positive behaviour strategies to support focus and participation
This role is ideal for those looking to develop their SEN experience in a highly rewarding environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
• Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 or small group setting
• Confident delivering Maths, English, and/or Science at KS1 and KS2 level
• Able to adapt learning to suit individual needs and pace
• Skilled in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
• Organised and reflective, with the ability to track and support student progress
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can support this)
• The right to work in the UK
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
What We Offer:
• Start date: ASAP
• Competitive hourly pay: £28+ (PAYE – no umbrella fees)
• Local, flexible placements to suit your availability
• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
• Access to CPD and professional development opportunities
