Primary Teacher (KS1 or KS2) – September Start – Basingstoke

A fantastic opportunity has just opened for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a specialist school in the Basingstoke area this September. This welcoming school supports pupils with a primary diagnosis of Autism (ASC), often alongside SEMH needs, in a caring and inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically and socially.

This full-time, permanent role is perfect for an experienced teacher in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 who is eager to make a real difference within a nurturing, well-equipped setting.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching in KS1 or KS2

  • Understand and apply inclusive teaching practices effectively

  • Be committed to creating a supportive, high-quality learning environment

  • Work well as part of a team, showing flexibility, reflection, and enthusiasm for professional growth

Requirements:

  • A valid DBS certificate for the child workforce, or willingness to obtain one before starting

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs succeed
