SEN Teacher – Primary Schools | Sheffield
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to work in primary schools across Sheffield. This rewarding role is perfect for teachers who are dedicated to supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they reach their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.
Location: Sheffield
Role: SEN Teacher – Primary
Start Date: immediate starts available
⏰ Contract: Full-time | Long-term with potential permanent opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEN
- Adapt the curriculum and use strategies to support a range of needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, etc.)
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external agencies
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and staff
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
✅ Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching children with SEN (in a mainstream or specialist setting)
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and personalised learning approaches
- Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
