Job Title: Supply Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: S3 area
Salary: £90-100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Supply / Temporary
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
We are looking for a caring, flexible, and enthusiastic Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. You’ll be supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a one-to-one and small-group basis, helping them to access the curriculum and develop their social and emotional skills.
Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs.

Assist in the delivery of individual learning plans.

Support classroom activities and interventions under teacher direction.

Help to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff.
What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
-
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
-
Good communication skills with pupils and adults alike.
-
Ability to work flexibly across different age groups.
-
Relevant qualifications (such as Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent) desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
