SEN Teacher – SEN Provisions
Location: Portsmouth | Full-Time, Fixed term | Start Date: September 2025

We're seeking a committed and inspiring SEN Teacher to join our specialist provision in Portsmouth, working with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) to include learning difficulties, communication difficulties and physical/mobility needs.

This is more than just a teaching role; it's about positively impacting lives. You’ll work as part of a supportive team who are dedicated to nurturing the emotional, social, and academic development of young people. With class sizes kept small, your work will be focused and impactful.
Your days will be diverse—no two are the same. From delivering bespoke learning programs to celebrating small victories, you’ll play a key role in helping students build trust, resilience, and belief in themselves.
We’re Looking For:

A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a passion for SEN and/or SEMH education.

Experience (or strong interest) in working within specialist settings.

An unshakeable resilience

Exceptional relationship-building skills—you believe connection comes before correction.

Creativity, flexibility, and an adaptive teaching style to meet individual needs.
- Ability to teach across the curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
