SEN Teacher – Maternity Cover
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join a warm, forward-thinking specialist school in the Farnborough area. This maternity cover role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils with diverse learning needs while contributing to a highly supportive, child-centred environment.
About the Role
As the SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan, deliver, and adapt high-quality lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.

Work closely with support staff, therapists, and the wider school team to develop personalised learning plans.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels safe, understood, and able to thrive.

Use creative strategies and assessment methods to support strong academic and personal development.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
-
Holds QTS or QTLS.
-
Has experience supporting pupils with SEN (including ASD, MLD, SEMH, ADHD, PMLD, or complex needs).

Brings patience, resilience, and a commitment to holistic child development.

Can differentiate teaching effectively and utilise a range of behaviour-support strategies.

Is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
