SEN Teacher with QTS – Specialist Provision | Dorchester
Full-Time | Ages 7–18 | September 2025 Start (Early Start Available)
Are you an experienced or newly qualified SEN Teacher with QTS looking to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and young people with autism and complex learning needs?
A well-established specialist school in the Dorchester area is seeking a committed and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team in September 2025.
For the right candidate, there is also the potential to start earlier, with flexibility depending on availability.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver personalised and creative lessons for students with a range of SEN, particularly autism

Use a variety of strategies to support learning, behaviour, and emotional development

Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists to meet EHCP targets

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates progress and individuality

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience or a strong interest in working with pupils with SEN and autism

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
