SEN support teaching assistant

  • Start date - September 2020
  • Salary from GBP325 – GBP335 a week
  • Radcliffe, Bury (M26) primary school

This role will be starting in September 2020 on a full-time basis and will initially be for the full academic year. For the suitable candidate, a permanent contact will be offered. The role will involve supporting a child in Year 3 with an Education Health Care Plan with Autism and speech and language needs.

A large part of this role will be engaging the pupil and supporting their emotional development to help with their overall progress in the class room. The successful candidate will be patient and nurturing and have previous experience working with children with special educational needs. The pupil needs positive praise at all times so candidate will need to be positive and enthusiastic at all times.

This is a large Bury primary school and is warm and welcoming and promotes an inclusive community ethos. This role will be highly rewarding for the successful candidate and staff will be supported by a strong senior leadership and has recently been graded as ‘Good’ in its latest Ofsted report.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
